About the property ....
Churn Barn - a holiday cottage in the Peak District that sleeps 8/9 - is just an incredible place! Its spacious accommodation includes a magnificent lounge and staircase, a large 'state of the art' kitchen, super bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms. Beamed ceilings, oak floors, and quality furniture go without saying and there is the added bonus of a large secure patio and garden. This is one of the most popular holiday homes in the Peak District!
Facilities
A large open-plan lounge and dining area with beamed ceiling, beautiful oak flooring, comfortable settees, lovely glass dining table and chairs to seat 12 people, T.V., DVD, freeview and Wi-Fi. A separate sitting/games room with sofa, chairs, pool table, football table, T.V.and Wii Console. (Please bring your own games and additional controllers).
A superb well-equiped kitchen with quality fitted units, breakfast bar, halogen hob, electric oven, microwave, slow cooker, large fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A utility room with automatic washer and tumble-dryer.
There is a spiral staircase to the first floor where there is a master double bedroom with en-suite shower room with large shower and W.C. A double bedroom with en-suite shower room with shower and W.C. 1 twin bedroom. A double bedroom with single bed. A family bathroom with bath, shower and W.C. and a downstairs shower room with shower and W.C. Linen and towels are provided.
Under floor heating (ground floor), central heating (upper floor) and power are included. A cot and high chair can be requested. There is a large stone flagged patio with furniture and fire pit together with a very large secure garden. There is secure parking for a maximum of six cars. Also, there is storage for bikes.
Pets and smoking are not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult. There is a £300 security deposit payable by cheque to the owner on arrival which will be posted back once the property has been inspected on departure date.
Weekly bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday. Weekend bookings are normally Friday to Monday. Short breaks are available throughout the year excluding Christmas and New Year.
